With Christmas approaching and budgets extra tight this year…

…I’ve compiled 10 of my favourite makeup products under £11 that would make gorgeous Secret Santa gifts or stocking fillers for friends and family who love makeup!

1. e.l.f. Putty Blush, £7

Blush is a product anyone can put on and feel instantly lifted and this ‘Putty Blush’ by vegan-brand, e.l.f., is just lovely. It’s a makeup bag staple and has a great reputation in the makeup world. It’s easy to apply using either your fingers or a blending brush, but I do prefer to use my finger as it warms up the product for easier application.

2. Rimmel, Exaggerate Eyeliner, £3.99

It’s no secret that we (Holly and I) love a liner look, as do so many of you! Rimmel’s Exaggerate Eye Liner in black is an absolute classic and a well-priced eye liner for a stocking filler. It’s smudge-proof and easy to apply, so marvelous for people who are just starting their makeup journey. I also love the fact this product comes in a pot as it helps for a smooth application and means you can dip back in if you need more. You’re totally in control and for a budget high street product, this liner is just excellent! If you need any help applying, check out my eyeliner application tips, here.

3. Maybelline, Curl Bounce Mascara, £10.99

Now I know I said under £10 but I couldn’t help myself, as the Curl Bounce Mascara by Maybelline is a new favourite of mine and it is SO worth the extra 99p! Plus, if you get it in a high street pharmacy 3 for 2 offer, it’s even better value! This mascara has a wonderful applicator that helps enhance your lashes by curling and lifting them upwards – two things that are rarely found in a single mascara.

Holly’s wearing this in the photo below, along with the eyeshadow palette from number 8 on this list!

4. Eyelure, 3/4 Length Lashes 006, £5.40

False eyelashes are so much fun at this time of year and these are the perfect lashes for Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve for that extra va va voom!

It’s the fact that they are a 3/4 length lash that’s the game changer for me with these Eyelure lashes. Being that bit shorter in length they are easier to apply, and the gradient lashes give your own lashes a natural fuller appearance without going over the top.

My biggest tip when applying the glue is to ensure you wait 40-50 seconds to make the glue tacky prior to laying across the eye line. Also, be sure to have a pair of tweezers and a mirror to hand. It can be fiddly but it is oh so worth it. Just remember to take your time and to breathe!

5. 3ina, The 24hr Stick, £10.95

This Spanish brand 3ina is one to watch. Their pigments and packaging are excellent and these 24hr eye sticks are a staple in my kit. The shades are so varied from bright to classic, meaning that there truly is something for everyone. One of my favourite ways to use these is to create a thick bright eyeliner as they are super easy to apply. A fun gift if ever I saw one, and something your friend may not buy for themselves.

6. Rare Beauty, Perfect Strokes Mascara, £11

Minis or travel-size products are a must for stocking fillers as they are such a great way to try out high end brands without having to commit to the high price of a full-size product.

This travel size Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes Mascara is such a treat and the perfect present for any makeup-lovers in your life. This and the Rare Beauty Eyeliner have been a much-welcomed addition to my kit.

7. Dr Lipp, 100% Natural Moisturising Colour Lip Tint, £6.99

Dr Lipp are famous for their amazing ‘Nipple Balm’ with its hydrating properties resulting in it becoming a worldwide handbag staple. At this time of year, the colder weather can start to dry us out, especially our lips (and there’s nothing worse than cracked sore lips).

These tinted lip balms are a great stocking filler and often something I gift my family and friends and they love them! With a selection of really pretty shades whose pigment comes from 100% natural products like sweet potato, they’re bound to go down a treat and be a present people actually use.

8. Barry M, Nude Neutral Eyeshadow Palette, £8

Barry M is a brand that has been around for years, and well known for being cruelty-free, which is just one of the many reasons I love them.

This palette is a true classic in my kit, and would suit most skin tones as it has a gorgeous variety of shades. (NB all the other colour palettes are worth checking out too!) Their pigments are fantastic, especially for the price.

I’ve used this so many times on Holly – in fact it’s what she’s wearing in the image above! The packaging is recyclable and lightweight which is a dream for carrying around with you! No more weighty palettes please!

9. e.l.f., Precious Gems 4 Piece Brush Set, £10

A good selection of brushes can really add up, so gifting them to your makeup loving friends/family members can never be a bad thing! If you’re looking for a set that’s value for money, this e.l.f. set is a great place to start. Valued at over £19 it includes brushes for eye and face makeup application. A brilliant little kit for the money.

10. The Body Shop, Colour Crush TM Lipstick, £8

Is a stocking ever complete without something from The Body Shop?! If you’re looking for a cruelty-free lipstick which packs a pigment punch then look no further!

The Body Shop have these great Colour Crush Lipsticks that deliver on both pigment and hydration. My favourite shade is Athens Anenome as it’s bright and is the perfect blend of orange and red for me. They have 8 shades to choose from, so there’s something for everyone to be wearing the perfect pop of colour this festive period, and beyond.

Remember that at the end of the day, makeup is all about having fun and doing what makes you look and feel the most confident – and you don’t have to spend a fortune to do that!

Merry Christmas!
