My friend bought a pre-loved bag on eBay and look what she discovered in the pocket. There are signs everywhere. 🌙
GLASTONBURY RETURNS!
This iconic British festival came back with a bang this year, with sensational headline acts like Paul McCartney, Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish & Lily Allen. Glasto feels like the true start of summer for me. I’ve been lucky enough to go a few times and had absolute FOMO watching it all play out on the telly.
Glastonbury stands for so much more than just outstanding music; championing climate change, and providing a platform for thoughts on worldwide political issues. Acts like Kendrick Lamar and Lily Allen used their performances to comment on the shocking overturned abortion law in America that has horrified world. It was empowering to see artists using their great influence for good to speak on behalf of those who cannot.
BLUEBELL…
…always finds the purrrfect spot to keep herself cool.
BAILEY…
…butter wouldn’t melt!
WEDDING DRESS REVIVAL
…a throwback to when my sister and I put our wedding dresses on again for her 40th Birthday party – which happened to coincide with Harry & Megan’s wedding day. No one needed to ask us twice!
WYLDE TUNES ‘WEDDING’ PLAYLIST…
…including my and Dan’s first dance, English Rose – Paul Weller.
DAD’S 70TH BIRTHDAY
Happy 70th Birthday to my wonderful dad! What a day full of love and admiration we had celebrating your life so far. Such incredible memories for all of us. Family really is everything.
PARTNER IN WINE
An Insulated bottle that holds an entire bottle of wine and keeps it cold for the day AND it’s pink – what’s not to love! It’s on my summer survival kit list!
SPORTS DAY
A moment of calm captured from one of 3 sports days I’ve been to. At least both the sun and the kids were beaming that day! Proud mama alert!
Technicolor Brighton beach huts in all their nostalgic glory!
RUBY
July’s birth stone is the gorgeous, eye-catching, Ruby – believed to promote loving, nurturing, health, knowledge and wealth.
Sparkles in the sand from our WYLDE MOON x Kirstie Le Marque jewellery collection.
BOOKAY
boo•kay was created in the heat of the global pandemic. With Broadway and performing arts houses closed, renowned ballet performer Robbie Fairchild turned to his flower arranging passion to ensure the show would still go on. As business bloomed, he made it his mission to use his company to hire other out-of-work Broadway performers who also shared his enthusiasm for floristry. Robbie and his creative director Adam Perry create floral bouquets thatare inspired by the notes found in our (borrowed from) The Wild products – all available at the English National Opera gift shop.
When hair emulates nature. I love this photo of my niece, Lola. Her hair cascades like Wisteria.
Beyonce is back! Need we say more?
And the biggest thing to change since last month’s Edition is that women in America now have less rights. Following the US Supreme Court overturning Roe V. Wade, the world has taken a backwards step. Grassroots networks like this have never been so important to build power to remove financial, logistical, cultural & political barriers to abortion.
Our resident WYLDE Energy expert, Emma Lucy recommends these two books. I’ve already read Many Lives, Many Masters and it’s a game changer! It really changed my whole outlook, not only how I view life, but how I view death. We’re not very good at talking about death in this country, but this book really makes you think about what happens after you die.
