Ingredients
- ¼ of a red cabbage
- 120 ml raw apple cider vinegar (with the mother)
- 120 ml water
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
Method
1. Remove the core from the cabbage then shred finely with a knife.
2. Add cabbage to a large glass jar or bowl, along with all other ingredients. Seal jar and shake, or simply stir bowl and cover.
3. Leave on the side for about 6 hours and shake occasionally.
4. Store tightly sealed in the fridge for 2 to 3 weeks.
5. Serve with salads in a sarnie on a burger or tacos.
