We only get a Blue Moon once every couple of years, but in a rare cosmic event, the next Full Moon on 19th August truly is a powerhouse! Not only is she full of Sturgeon Moon energy, she’s a Supermoon and a Blue Moon to boot – tripling her power to enhance personal growth, deep introspection and manifestation of future goals.

Supermoon Energy

Supermoons occur at the point in the Moon’s orbit where it’s closest to Earth, making it appear larger and brighter than normal. Every Full Moon carries potency but a Supermoon amplifies this energy, signifying culmination and making it a potent moment for clarity and setting intentions.

Sturgeon Moon Energy

In astrology, the Sturgeon Moon symbolises abundance, wisdom and transformation. Reflect on everything you have already achieved and visualise and how you can continue to grow. Now is the time to set goals to help you achieve these desires.

Blue Moon Energy

There are 2 definitions of a Blue Moon. This Sturgeon Moon is a ‘seasonal’ Blue Moon because it is the third of 4 Full Moons to fall in an astronomical season (as defined by the equinoxes and solstices). The other definition is a ‘monthly’ Blue Moon as it refers to the second full moon to fall in a calendar month, which will apply to the next Blue Moon we experience in May 2026. Blue Moons are considered a time of heightened emotional energy, making the perfect time for healing and profound change.

How to make the most of this Potent Super Blue Moon Energy!

Find a quiet place

Close eyes and bring your desired outcome to the forefront of your mind. The potent Full Moon energy will help to amplify your vision, making it more likely to become reality.

Practice gratitude journaling

…to boost your manifestation power
The more you cultivate gratitude, the more positive energy you will attract into your life.

Release what no longer serves you

Trust your intuition and be honest with yourself. Change is not only possible but necessary for you to grow. Ask yourself what you need to forgive – of both yourself and others. Try writing everything you want to let go of on a piece of paper and safely burn it, whilst setting an intention to release it all into the fire.

Meditate on enhancing your higher purpose, confident in the knowledge that your deepest desires are within reach.
